Overview

Dreamsfaq helps people interpret dreams, keep a journal, and explore dream symbols. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language on purpose.

Information you give us

Depending on how you use Dreamsfaq, you may give us:

  • Dream descriptions, journal entries, follow-up questions, and other content you type into the product.
  • Email address and account details if you create an account.
  • Messages you send us for support or feedback.

Public interpretations

If you use the public dream interpreter on the website, your submission is used to generate a public interpretation page. That page is not indexed for search engines, but it can still be accessed by anyone with the link. Do not submit names, health details, passwords, or anything else you would not want attached to that interpretation.

Information we collect automatically

We also collect some information automatically when you use the site, such as:

  • Basic device, browser, and usage information.
  • Pages viewed, features used, and actions taken in the product.
  • Cookies or similar storage used to keep sessions working, remember preferences, and understand usage.

How we use your information

We use information we collect to:

  • Run the product and deliver interpretations, journal features, and account access.
  • Maintain, debug, protect, and improve Dreamsfaq.
  • Understand which features are useful and where the experience is breaking down.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
  • Enforce our terms and prevent abuse or misuse.

Analytics and service providers

We may use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, and similar operational needs. Those providers only receive the information needed to perform their role for us. We do not sell your personal information or your dream entries.

When we may share information

We may share information in a limited number of situations:

  • With vendors and infrastructure providers who help us operate the service.
  • If we need to comply with a legal obligation or protect users, Dreamsfaq, or the public.
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, if that ever happens.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. The exact retention period depends on the kind of data and how you use Dreamsfaq.

Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser, though some parts of the product may stop working properly if you disable them. If you want help with account data or have a privacy request, email us at dreamsfaq@gmail.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system can promise perfect security. The best approach is to avoid submitting highly sensitive information through public features.

Children

Dreamsfaq is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the issue.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the date at the top of the page.
